1. Old Line State: the state motto of Maryland, appearing on the back of the state quarter. General George Washington bestowed the name on the Revolutionary War troops from Maryland who courageously defended the front line in numerous battles.

3. Old Line Architects: Founded in Baltimore, Maryland, 2015. The name is the confluence of Pride of Place and the desire to deliver exceptional service to our clients using proven methods. Our motto: Helping our clients to achieve their vision.


Old Line Architects was founded in 2015 by Christopher Weston, AIA, LEED AP. Chris holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland School of Architecture, 1994, and has more than 20 years’ experience in architectural design, construction, and building inspection. Chris is a registered architect and also a LEED-accredited professional. Creation of the firm was the fulfillment of a longtime goal.
